“The final scene Tuesday night at the Rimar Drive-In Theatre was worthy of any action film.
A spectacular fire destroyed the Orange County landmark’s huge screen, seven months after the theater closed because it wasn’t making enough money.”
From the Orlando Sentinel, December 1, 1996:
“Today’s service will include the spreading of Rimar ashes in the shadow of the Star-Lite screen and possibly a jazz band for the bittersweet atmosphere of a New Orleans funeral…”
