Welcome to the first installment of my Disney World October 2016 vlogs! This was the first Disney trip that I vlogged on my channel and we had the absolute best time on this trip. The travel day actually took two days as I went from my home in London to Heathrow, stayed over the night, and then we boarded the Virgin Atlantic plane.
Rather than keeping it simple and going straight to Orlando, we had a lay over in Atlanta. It took a while, but the anticipation was building!
When we finally got to Orlando airport, we used the Universal Super Star Shuttle to get to Universal’s Cabana Bay Resort. This resort is gorgeous! We had a look around the resort and at the pools, had dinner in the huge food court, and then the jet lag proved too much and we had an early night, ready to explore Universal in the morning! So exciting!
Take a look BEHIND THE SCENES on my blog – http://farawaylisamae.com
Thanks for watching! Please subscribe for future Disney World vlogs. We recorded every day of out October holiday, including Caribbean Beach Resort, MNSSHP, and amazing experiences at all the Disney and Universal parks.
Who are we?
Hi, I’m Lisa. I’m a blogger and a Walt Disney World addict who was lucky enough to work in Quick Service Food & Beverage at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World in summer 2014. Since then, I’ve been saving to go back. In October 2016, I took my 16-year-old sister, Alice, on the best trip ever. There are six years between us in age, but we were still asked if we were twins quite a few times!
